Cardcall was established in mid-1996 and is one of the market leaders in providing prepaid services. Cardcall is one of australia's largest prepaid phonecard providers, offering customers a range of voice and messaging services through prepaid phonecards. The ability to design customised card services and make them user-friendly has created significant levels of loyalty. In 2004 cardcall launched three nz phonecards.

Cardcall can also package speciality phonecards as customer branded products for specific applications. Some of the applications include the use by companies for branding and marketing purposes; fundraising offering real value to donors and information service cards, which allow instant communication between conference attendees and the conference organiser via pre-recorded messages.

Cardcall phonecards are sold primarily to australian and new zealand residents travelling overseas, overseas visitors and business executives travelling in australia, foreign language students, ethnic groups, military personnel and students. Cardcall has extensive distribution partners in australia and currently has over 15,000 retail franchised outlets.

In mid 2001, cardcall was appointed as a preferred distributor for optus prepaid products. We also supply boost mobile and virgin mobile products. In this way, we are able to be a one stop prepaid communications supplier. Currently these products are only available in australia.
